Hi Don
very useful information and exactly what I was looking for, thanks.
I will, of course, not ask now, whether there are any third party lenses
(for ex. from Ricoh) which are equal or even better than their Pentax

Hi Luigi
do you happen to know whether there is a list somewhere with all that
lenses from other manufactures that
fit on a Pentax K camera like the SF7/SFX series . I'm not talking about OEM
brands like sigma, Tamron, Tokina etc, but
maybe Ricoh, Konica, Cosina and others?
For ex. the 50mm f/1
That Sears 80-200/4 is actually a Tokina RMC lens. Very nice glass,
especially for the price they tend to sell for. I've got one in M42
mount that I got with my Spotmatics.

mounted on Pentax cams? Is (are) there brand(s) that I should disregard?

Good choices. The 80-200/2.8 is surprisingly good for a fast zoom,

Hello to All,
As far as fixed focal lengths go:

My Tokina 80-200mm f2.8 ATX (manual focus)
