My actual set-up is the following
dnsdist:53 --> authoritative:5353 --> recursor:5300
As you can imagine, dnsdist is the fronted that handles the queries to the
authoritative and, in
Ok, works fine with pdns 4.0.0.1!

Hi guys,
A quick e-mail to ask a suggestion for a LUA script (or a similar
functionality) in power dns recursor to redirect all in-addr.arpa and
ip6.arpa to an external DNS server! Thank you!

customer. Can I set-up dnsdist on the same machine where I'm running dns

local address where bind it

Hi guys,
Just installed the new version of PDNS recursor and I m not able to start
it. That is the message.

Hi All,
I installed from PowerDNS recursor 3.7.3 from scratch some days ago.
However seems that it doesn't run at startup. If I reboot the server I need
to digit service pdns-recursor start.
I checked the init.d folder and seems ok
root@banana:/etc/init.d# ls -l *dns*
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root
Hi guys!
Any suggestions/clue?
Thanks in advance

Hi guys,
Sorry to bother with this kind of question, but I googoled for while in
order to find out what "Threads" meas in the config file but without
success.
Can someone help me? What does it mean that value (as default is 2)
Thank You

Ok, maybe my question has not been clear: what threads parameter means in
the config file? What it affects?
Thanks
