There is currently a memory leak in 2.9.21 from gmysql backend threads dying
in this fashion. The threads themselves are not being cleaned up. this is
only noticeable on very light loads where the backends do not get enough
traffic to keep the mysql connection open. You will notice it by

this seemed a good way to reduce load. All other config options are
pretty much default.
What would/could it be allocating that much virtual memory for?

This also started happening to me just recently. The only
correlation was I added another SPF and TXT record (which was also
just an spf.) Noticed this error on the web status page, but had not
