For those who missed it, there was a nice letter in the NYT this last
week from Paul Davidson (Journ of post Keynes Econ) making fun of NAIRU and
pointing out that NAIRU is basically the Fed's and ncds's disguised version of
the reserve army of the unemployed.

What happens re: the rate of capacity utilization when a facility completely
or even partially shuts down, or a business fails? It seems to me that in such
cases the remaining capacity would sustain a high utilization rate, while
employment would go down.
Soros has recently put in money in a large petrochemical project in West
Bengal
(Haldia) India as part of a joint-venture with the ruling Marxist party of
the state.

definitely preserve and expand welfare for Lockheed. They will
expand all other social programs for the rich and powerful.
