Last week Doug asked to hear more about the Danish social security
system. So over thanksgiving I did a little bit of research on the
topic - and this is what I found out.
Also I would still be very interested in hearing pen-l'ers opinion
about reforming the U.S. social security system into a fu
nted for, I think, 10-15 years ago. The
wealth of this fund has increases tremendeously since then, and the fund now
owns over 50 percent of all stocks of private companies. This has been refer-
red to as "socialism through the back door."
