Blair Sandler is right to point out that the "snitch" on maggie's post could have been on another list. I, for one, forwarded maggie's post to another list because it was a very eloquent illustration of an issue being discussed on that list. I've gotten responses to other messages of mine from people who saw them on lists I've never heard of. A listserv discussion is a public forum. The point, as maggie made very clear is that NYNEX is violating her right to free speech by attempting to discipline her for posting a message critical of their management problems to a discussion group.
