We presently have an opening for a Research Associate in our Human Resources Policy Center. The incumbent would be responsible for conducting research and generating funded projects in areas of human resources policy, such as training and employment issues and issues relating to income maintenance and welfare programs. Other responsibilities include developing proposals, supervising research assistants, and working with a team of other researchers on major projects. The position requires a Ph.D. in Economics, or related social science field; a record of research and policy analysis related to human services, human resource and welfare issues; familiarity with policy developments in the field of labor and income support programs; excellent writing, quantitative, and statistical analytical skills; and the ability to make clear and effective oral presentations.
