There is nothing radical about Marcus Gee's article. Noone with their eyes open can 
deny that the NATO bombings have worsened
the situation. Its the old Anthony Lewis/dove line that we should get out of the war 
because we are losing. The costs of
winning the war are too high. The intentions were good, the cause noble  but somehow 
its all gone awry. There is no
questioning the motives of NATO. Gee remains silent about the question of 
international law and respect for national
sovereignty. In short, Gee does not engage the arguments of the anti-bombing sector at 
all.  However, the Globe's editorial
page is considerably more liberal than their colleagues at America's national business 
paper, the Wall Street Journal.  The
feet of the WSJ editorialists haven't touched Planet Earth for decades now.
