I am not sure that my memory is correct in this: Henry forwarded to this list a discussion from another list. We had already been through this material. I think that Brad is wrong. He takes unreliable sources and uses them uncritically. Clinton is very bad, but I would not use the Clinton Chronicles to make my case. This forwarded post was guaranteed flame bait. Brad had already made his charges public on pen-l. I was glad to see it recede into the past, since Brad has a great deal to contribute in other matters. I personally invited him to join the list. >From here, if we continue the debate [I would rather see it die], let us concentrate on what Mao did rather than on what Brad or Henry says. I also appreciated that Brad reacted to his extreme-right wing [or whatever it was] with humor rather than taking it too personally.
