Not only France is doubting about the EU. You will find similar behaviours in Germany and other EU-Member countries. Crux of this is, that the EU could definitely be considered as a what it should in fact be e.g. " at the services of the Europan citizens" which does of course also include their industries. I mentioned on purposes " could" as we are " ways" away from the fundamental aims of the EU. "Blind" and "unresponsable" political leaders, infected by the virus +++ Global Thinking+++, are just unable to realize, that they are really seriously putting in danger the whole concept of the EU. The citizens are unable to identify them to the EU. Of course the "Passeports" are EU-like, of course you have now within the EU the possibility to accept jobs regardless of the member country, but citizens " day to day " problems are on a quite different level. Citizens are assisting practically now every day to: closings of industries either through re-localizations or "bankrupcies", increased taxes, salary cuttings and are assimilating this to their EU member-ship. The development of " defending " positions is in such a context only normal. The EU can indeed be blamed to a certain extend for this situation. IMHO for the following reasons: - First of all the introduction of the Euro " should NOT" follow a preplanned calendar. The qualifications in order to join this "club" are really drastic e.g. The public deficits must be below 3% of the Nations PNB. -Second, the EU has to re-introduce asap the so called " Preference Clauses", followed by import dissuasive measures such as increases in customs duties, introduction of import regulations. These measures should be applied on products produces " outside of the EU". This in order to balance the effect of the so called "Globalization" having IMO devasted sufficiently the EU. Yes, the citizens have the feeling, that the technocrates in Brussel are not performing in favor of their aims.......and here they are absolutely right. They expect from the EU security in jobs, decent salaries allowing to live ( not "vegetate".....but I am afraid with the present "Crew" in Brussel, also infected with the "Virus Globalization", citizens aims will just remain dreams, but dreams can develop some revolting actions........
