Across the country, trade unionists are launching "Labor for Nader"
efforts, inspired by the prospect of a progressive anti-corporate
candidate having a serious impact on the year 2000 presidential race.
Already Nader is polling between 5%-12% in most states. The morning after
election day, there is every indication that the biggest talking point
will be the size of the vote for Ralph Nader!
The AFL-CIO and most major unions have endorsed Al Gore, but many active
trade unionists know that Ralph Nader is the only serious candidate
standing up for working people, the environment, and for an end to
corporate-managed globalization.
So many union people are now completely weary of lesser-evil politics.
Now is the time to show support for a candidate that is a real friend of
union men and women and all working people!
Please join us on August 6. If you are unable to make the fund raiser
but would like to make a contribution to Nader2000, please make out a
check to (before Aug. 12--matching funds deadline) "Nader 2000 Primary
Committee" and after Aug. 12th checks payable to "Nader 2000."and send to:
