Gary Webb’s Memorial Service to be held on Saturday, December 18, in Sacramento

A memorial service for Gary Webb, the courageous investigative journalist whose revealing series in the San Jose Mercury News documented CIA and Contra involvement in U.S. cocaine supplies and sales, will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2 p.m. at the Garden Terrace Room, Doubletree Hotel, 2001 Point West Way in Sacramento.
The event is open to the public. I encourage people to get there early because the hotel told me that space in the room is limited to 100 to 120 people. For directions, call 916-929-8855.
