No I wasn't and after reading your post I fixed it. However I found the
real crux of my problem
being that I was not specifying the proper prompt to wait for in the 'cmd'
so it would time out.
Both problems solved now,

Are you SURE there is exactly one space character after (y/n) ? Followed
by a carriage return?
If not, you'll need to change your regex.
