i've installed persian in w2k (regional settings...) and through microsoft
office tools, and writing basically works, but it has some bugs, e.g.: a) i
write a word, and at the end of it (on the left) a period -> the period
shows at the beginning (on the right) of the word. b)

i have windows 2000 and office 2000, both in english, and have enabled
right-to-left languages and farsi in the windows regional settings and in
the office tools language settings. result: i can basically type in farsi,
but in excel weird things happen, e.g. if i type a period
