Hello! To me it looks like it comes from the Bucculatricidae family of Ribbed Cocoon-maker Moths, common in North America. Larvae start as leaf-miners and develop into leaf skeletonizers for specific plants. It probably hitched a ride inside. Best wishes, Stephanie Stephanie Black Conservato
