Hi Yoshiko! I think the amount of space left at the bottom depends on the size of the geckos. Most pests should still get in with a gap of 5-10 mm, but if the geckos are quite small, then the smallest the gap can be while permitting pest entry is best. There is lots of great advice on this thread

Hi Katey Thank you so much for your advice. It's a good idea to put the door! I'll try it. We have triangle traps and our targets of monitoring are especially silverfish and also some beetle, booklice. Is it ok to leave some mm of space on the bottom? Maybe 5mm? 3mm? I really appreciate it! Best
