Hi everyone, I have recently purchased some carpet beetle traps - the kind from that come with both a pheromone lure and a food bait lure. To me, the food/attractant lures look very much like a piece of dog food, and it made me wonder if a piece of dog kibble might make a good lure (and be much cheaper and easier to access)? Advice/thoughts would be appreciated.
