The clang-format commit will be merged very shortly (recall this does not
reformat the code, merely provides all the infrastructure needed).
There is one final question (please vote on each one; note you can have some
\n and some not if that is what you prefer)
PetscErrorCode function()
One must be a little careful with this if there are output/*_alt.out files
involved. It will likely overwrite the "wrong" one and will not update any alt
alternatives which means that the CI might find differences due to the alt
files being out of date.
