Hi,
I know ORACLE has distributed database management features: such as
replication. Can postgreSQL do this? Is any software available for this
purpose for postgreSQL?

TIP 2: you can get off all lists
In the form for creation new database is not possible to specify the
template alternative.
Es. line command for copy database:
createdb db -Tdb1

Theres always ERWin which works quite nicely with postgres if you use ODBC as the
Target RDBMS type (and configure ODBC data sources appropriately).
