Hi Tony,
In server mode, pgAdmin does not allow a user to access the server's file
system outside the user's directory. So if you click on the home button or
put "/" in the path, it will take you to /var/lib/pgadmin/storage/.

On opening the import/export dialog and switching to Import and trying
to find a file to import I find:
The file name box has a / symbol.
The home button has no effect
The move up the tree button has no effect.
