It's starting to become clear that the speed issues we've had reported
are specific to the desktop runtime under Windows - which explains why
most of the developers don't see them as the majority of us use Macs.

Subject: [pgadmin-support] pgAdmin4 speed
There were several recent comments on this list about pgAdmin4 being slow which
surprised me as I've found it to be faster than pgAdm
t and then using pgAdmin4 in a web
browser. I suggest that folks who are bothered by the speed (lack of) in
standalone mode give the server + browser setup a try. The server is
launched with a single command:
python /path/to/pgAdmin4.py
then navigate to:
localhost:5050

I am using Postgres Sql DATA base in Oracle Linux & the same is installd in
IBM Machine. The machine supports 1gbps data transfer. How can I configure
my Pgadmin to use faster. Wich version of Pgadmin supports the 1gbps data
transfer. And how can I do this.
Please help me.

I've noticed this.
It's the syntax highlighting.
If you can build yourself a pgadmin without syntax highlighting, it
should be a lot mo
the database.
4. Click the SQL icon to open a new SQL window.
5. Start typing.
*Expected Results*
The UI keeps up with my typing speed.
*Actual Results*
Typing in the SQL window using a remote X session (over a high-bandwidth
Internet connection) is nearly impossible. The UI updates are

I don't know how big your database is, but I have one with 23 tables of
varying sizes, the largest of which is 25,000 records. Each step in the
hierarchy, ie open connection, open database, open table, takes about 2
seconds. My server is a Dell P3 600mz and my client is a Dell P3

Fellow pgAdministrators,
Shortly I went trying to use pgAdmin. I know pgAdmin uses ODBC, and I know
that it is not the quickest form of connection you can get.
I can live with that... but I wondered if any of you is experiencing this
kind of performance as well, or have experienceD, and know a

I use a 128k ISDN connection.
While we're on the general subject, I have a comment on the user
interface in pgAdmin: Why aren't objects listed in the detail pane

Hi,
I've been using pgAdmin for sometime now and find
it to be a very useful tool. The only problem i've come across is that it is
really slow when accessing the server. The server is on a seperate Linux box and
network connection is very fast normally. Is it a problem with my system or is
