I've been experiencing this same problem and think I've finally determined
cause.
In our case, this happens after restoring a database with the script that
results from a pg_dumpall with "clean" option. If we have any triggers
that call functions, the tirggering SQL will always result in a "Cach

TIP 4: Don't 'kill -9' the postmaster
I had a hardware error on my server and lost the WAL files. I can
restore my data, but because of the size of the database that'll take at
least 12 hours. Is there any way to start the server without the
transaction logs?

yes, but i can't wait the next release, it's possible to make a module or
something else ?
i think, the postgres TEAM have to make a clustering system like fiber
channel switch
