Since we are limited to a 2G file size on unix, is that the practical limit
To be precise, only some Unix-like OSes are limited to 2G file sizes.
NetBSD has had 64-bit filesystems (hence, the limit is much larger
than 2G) for _many_ years (probably at least 6) already.

What is the status of putting users into groups for the purpose of
