Hey Postgres Team! I wanted to bring to everyone's attention a very interesting database, called Noria, written in Rust. It offers a compelling alternative to common dev patterns intended to boost performance of relational database interactions. The author only implemented a mysql backend at the moment but a postgres one could be created as well.
Postgresql developers have successfully responded to NoSQL alternatives in the past by incorporating differentiating functionality. I hope that you find inspiration and sufficient cause to address that which Noria offers, whether by partial materialize review refreshes, integration with Noria, or otherwise.
