the interesting thing is that spoonbill (slightly older OpenBSD-current/Sparc64) passes this test(but fails contribcheck later on):

A wild guess is that the difference might be that OpenBSD/x86 is still using a 2.95.x compiler in the base system and Sparc64 already has 3.3.x...
Yet it looks like that the float8 issue is not really fatal - (-0 vs 0) just annoying :-).
