Hi, No need to guess :). The main problem is that the System Browser is using PackageInfo instead of RPackage. Take a look at the analysis I did on this case (yes, I used some fancy tools): http://www.humane-assessment.com/blog/making-the-pharo-settings-browser-open-faster-with-gtinspector Both
