[REPOST] Please note: DEADLINE 15 July*
INRIA RMoD is looking for a full-time engineer for helping with Pharo
development.
As researchers, we need a really great system to explore new ideas with.
The job of the engineer is to help us by improving the infrastructure we
use for our work.

Because the #initialColorInSystemWindow returns white...
Guess it would be better to override like GroupBoxMorph ;-)
Workaround for now, put the tab group in a panel:
|window panel tabs contentMorph |
window := StandardWindow new model: self.
window title: 'Test'.
panel := PanelMorph new change
Not yet. Just top tabs.

Subject: [Pharo-project] Polymorph question - vertical tabs
Does polymorph also support vertical tab groups similar to:

yes, I agree.
I will spend time on that during the next days, weeks.

It would be great to start removing what does not work or rethink then like the
smart groups.
I love smart groups but you were diving in your PhD and they need a bit love
and care.

Yes, it is working. New version of Metacello outdated the configuration. I am
working on it right now...

I filed a bug concerning unsatisfactory timezone offset on macs:
http://code.google.com/p/pharo/issues/detail?id=2660.
I guess John McIntosh is responsible for this, but I couldn't find his e-mail
address on this list.

I was caught by the linear loading of Metacello.
Spy now load properly in Pharo 1.0 and 1.1 (I haven't tried using

Hi all,
Some time ago I found out that half of the time spent in opening a
browser was spent in ScrollBars code (you can see it by doing
TimeProfileBrowser onBlock: Object browse). So I looked at the code and as
it was messy I made a big refactory and cut browser opening time a bit.

What I suggest is that

I checked a bit and saw that such method is on Scanner class on PharoCore

What I missed?

Stef,
Just to have a better grasp of your reasoning: Are you suggesting we put
annotations in a method and just have it/them lumped in an 'Annotations'
protocol or are you suggesting a more radical change which will require the
toolset to have changes in sync to them?
Em 08/07/2010 11:48,
I didn't understand if you want to replace the class pragmas with a simple
class method for adding metadata, or to add the pragmas in a class method.
In the first case I think I would like to have class pragmas because:
- we can have a single, well known way, or concept, to generate metadata,
