That is the correct #. They also have other listings on the same page for
Edison Triumph cylinders, bedplates, etc.

I believe it is ebay # 270209025105. Any guesses as to why the Edison
signature is on the back?

I recently acquired a Deutsche Grammophon portable very similar to an HMV
101. The motor-board is painted wood with a plate which reads:

Last night I told my wife that while everyone was watching the Superbowl (I'm
not a sports fan), I was going shopping on eBay. In my search, I found a
magnificent unrestored but clean Model F Triumph that had been listed just a
short time earlier. It had an oak cygnet horn, O reproducer, and
The Idelia on eBay was a Model D2 which meant it was shipped with a cygnet
horn. Thus the horn in the auction was married to the machine at a later date.
However, I doubt that is why the machine went "so low!" ;-)

Hey Zono: That's Breker, in Germany, that sold the Idelia for 40K.
I have an IDEAL, fourth lowest known serial number for the Ideal/Idelia
machines, according to Terry Baer. Was updated to 2/4 min, has O reproducer
and mahogany cygnet. Was beautifully restored in 1998 by Steve Farmer.

Guess y'all saw that the Idelia on eBay sold for $31,100. Nice machine and
price, but not quite as nice as the one Guido sold just two years ago this
month for $41,100. The market may be soft, but rare machines are doing ok, as
always.
