Well folks thanks for the replies.? Frankly, I know nothing about building web
pages and the affects of OS and browser during their creation.? My running joke
is the only thing I know about HTML is how to spell it.? I used the wizard that
comes with the hosting company to build all the pages.? W
We will see if IE-8 is standard compliant when it shows up. That was
the claim for IE-7 also. Talk is cheap at MS.

No, in this case its IE but the core IE engine is integrated into all of
the windows operating systems. So you could say that since Vista comes
with IE-7 its an OS problem. This is easy to fix, install Ubuntu.

Jerry,
In the early years, Edison marketed a few cylinder record cabinets, but never
with an Edison decal. Some old-timer evidently "improved" it!

IE 8, unlike all browsers that proceed it, will be 100% W3C standard. People
will likely not like that either because there will be sites that don't look
very good. Until the browsers all follow the same standard (FireFox doesn't
follow the standard either), then some pages will not work well. I
Hi Jeff,
I checked one of my Victor 0 machines, S/N 792A, which is about as early as
they come. The only means of securing the motor board to the top of the
cabinet sides is hide glue. There are no glue blocks and it does not appear
there ever were (i.e. there is no residue or outline indicative o
Wow, what a gorgeous phonograph. These Herzog built and patented Sonora
bulge style cabinet phonographs very seldom come up. Someone will get a
really good deal on this one, best of luck and thank for posting this so we
could all see it.

Well, they copied many FireFox features but not very well though. They
will do better with IE-8.

My wife has advised me that we need more dining space in our dining room. I
am offering up for sale a beautiful Sonora Baby Grand, complete with
original Owner's Manual and "Guaranty." It is in very nice, original
condition. I purchased it from a reputable, local dealer in December 2003.

It is the MOTOR BOARD that is loose. I may not have been clear. The
bottom panel is secured into the cabinet with screws, as it is supposed
to be. The later "O" case is hinged at the motor board. This is the
machine that I personally own. The case I am curious about is a spare,
is early, and the MO

You might have an altered or replaced bottom board. Please send me a picture
of it to my personal e-mail. I'll let you know what I think. The bottom
boards of 0s were screwed in place to allow access to the motor. I'd like to

Well, M$ is not standards compliant and that is what you get.

I recently purchased a cylinder record cabinet that I plan to resell. It's a
one door cabinet and behind the door are four pull outs with thirty pegs at
each level. All 120 pegs are there and the original finish on the cabinet it
excellent. Right in the middle of the door is an "Edison" decal
I have the same problem with overlapping pictures and words. I am using AOL
and Windows Vista. Is there any way to correct this?
Thanks, Art Heller

I have an early Victor O mahogany case that I am trying to figure out.
It is the type with the bottom board screwed into the cabnet. If you
needed to access the motor, you take off the bottom board, and could
remove the motor this way. Here is the issue. The motor board on this
cabinet is loose! Th
