I should know this but what are some of the best ways to store wax
cylinders, aside from good temperature control? Is it OK if they are in
their cylinder boxes? And if I am putting them all in some large storage
box, is it OK if it's plastic, and should the large storage box not have
a lid,
Hi,
I subscribed to this a long time ago and have most of the issues Martin
printed. I am not sure if he will ever make anymore but I assume not.
I can scan them and make them available online if there is any interest.
It will take a while to locate them and I may need a few fills.

Barry I would think that would make a great resource-I have a few issues but
have not been able to gather many.

I'd appreciate the effort, Barry! Just make sure Martin doesn't object!

What ever happened to Mr. Bryan? I remember getting a letter from him about 7
or 8 years ago, saying that he was going to get his act together, start up the
Graphic and promised to get it out on time. I sent him the money for the
subscription, but the check was never ever cashed and the Graphic
Come to think of it, a friend of mine sent him a check that was never cashed
too. Maybe just publish the stuff. Its ancient anyhow.

I would be very interested in seeing the issues I don't have.
Curious also about what happened.

I really think it was a true love of labor for Martin. The magazine was a
bargain as was most everything he sold. Like many things they come and go.
Very hard work. Tim Gracyk was a pioneer as well. Allen K too. I have all
of the APM's NAGs and a great deal of Tim's work. I am grateful they did
Wish I had all the APMs...

Has anyone checked out this late Victor IV on ebay?

There are several subtle hints this one may not be what it appears to be. The
speed control is one, the reproducer another.the 14X14 footprint is
correct, however. H.

It's too bad there's no full view of the side on the machine, to see if a
crank hole has been filled. The crank now looks suspiciously too far to the
back of the machine. However, being a later machine (as can be seen by the
back bracket), it could be the company was dropping Victrola mechanisms

Strange. When I click on the link, I get an ebay message that says the item was
removed. It certainly looks correct in all respects but the speed control and
crank location. The screws on the crank escutcheon look new too. The Victor
Data book indicates that the cabinet is all correct though.

And if you look at 270681982921 you will notice that its crank hole is very
far back. Hmmm

This Victor most likely hails from South America,

Living in the Los Angeles area, I have seen several Victor horned machines
that came from Mexico. This is consistent with the features of a late South
of the border machine. Including the aluminum ID tag, slip in elbow,
Victrola type motor, Victrola arm and #2 reproducer. I heard that after horn
