Chrome is really a thin plate over nickel, and the process described in the link is near to chrome but not quite the same. Wonder if it is closer to bright nickel. http://www.jaylenosgarage.com/video/spray-on-chrome/1232328/ If so, it would be great for a lot of phono parts. Ron L
