No, I didn't.  However, I will likely be in touch with him and Allan Sutton once I receive the record I want to compare to Lyric 8108.  It's on the way to me, hopefully in one piece... Here's the record here:

Well, the record arrived at lunchtime. If you looked at the ebay listing the seller said 8103 but I looked at the picture and really thought it was 8108.  It was 8103! So, I do have 8103 by chance.  The side without the label is actually Lyric 8103B.  The markings on the B side show both 8103A

Very interesting indeed.  I think you have helped solve the puzzle.  According to Sutton's book there was a Phonolamp label but not until 1921.  However, the Electric Phonograph Corporation had been around since 1916.  So that probably pegs this disc to when vertical was still a viable option
