Thought I would offer this on the list before ebay gets it. This is a heavy
brass plaque from the front of an old Southern California Edison building, and
features a large Edison script signature very like the one on the Edison
phonographs from 1906 and later. This has been mounted on an oak plaque and
wouls look stunning on your phono display room wall. Brass portion measures 17"
wide by 12" high, oak portion is 22: wide by 17"high.
First $175 gets it, and I can deliver to the GSPS meeting on Dec 5. Answer me
off list with questions, etc. The age of this is approximately 1930s-40s. I
know someone who worked for So, Cal Edison, and he had a logo like this one,
but it was only the signature portion, not a plaque from a building.
Thanks
John Robles
