I just bought a Polly Portable Phonograph in good condition, but the
paper cone speaker is rather worn and doesn't hold together very
well. It's also lost a lot of stiffness, which I assume

There is a fellow in PA that makes excellent replica cones for radio

If you're thinking about a replacement onetry some poster board.
Use black or some other bland color and trace your old cone. I did this once
and it works fine.
