What condition is the Baby Regent? Is the finish original? We are also
looking for some inexpensive upright Victor machines such as a X or XI. What
condition is the XVI? Thanks, Bob Cole

I guess I have a wish list item to add to the pile: an upright Pathe Actuelle,
which is the Pathe disc machine with the wacky umbrella parasol style
tonearm/sound radiator gizmo.
I've craved one for a really long time, and finally found one a little while
ago. It was going to get handed off
No, it doesn't suck at all to live in the Midwest. This is where all the
bargains are.

I wish: my car would go that far & back (doubtful) ... that *I* could drive
that far and back (impossible - I fall into a trance after 100 miles) ...
that I could afford it (well, I prolly can) .. and that my current job would
allow it (nope - nobody to take my place over a weekend) .

Let's see, this year is the 35th annual Union phonograph show. I've only
missed one, so this will be my 34th year! Hard to imagine that there might be
collectors who missed the show the previous 34 years!

It is that time of year again. The Union phonograph show is just a couple
of weeks away. If you have never been to this phonograph show, I would
highly recommend attending. Some of the rarest phonographs, parts, and
records are available at this show. Several of the best dealers and

Well, the annual pilgrimage to the Union phonograph show is coming up quick.
I would like to put out my "Wish List" for anyone bringing items to sell. I
am looking for a Victor A or B, An Edison under glass cabinet and machine,
any Rigid arm Victor, any volume controls for Victor or Edison reprodu
Nice wish list. I think most anyone there would hope these things would show
up! I'll be there and I'd love to find any of these things.
