An interesting item is up on eBay presently. I've no idea what it really is. This a "rosewood" box which was said to hold a Victor "cylinder". Great graphics---but almost too good! Is this a Crapobox??? Item # 6633497860 Thanks, Art Heller

Seems to be an authentic period piece. My best guess is that this was used in a Victor dealer retail store, mounted on the wall in a listening booth, near a demonstration machine as a convenient means to hold a small number of disc records (vertically) for previewing them prior to purchasi
