Description: ------------ newly installed php 5.0.4 on windows xp. php is installed perfectly i checked phpinfo(). Even i worked phpmyadmin for creating database. But whereas fopen() does not work for me in "w" "w+" "x" mode. Iam getting a message like this Warning: fopen(one.xml) [function.fopen]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\test\phptest2.php on line 3 failure It was working proper for read.(r)mode, but not working for r+, a, a+,x and x+. I think somewhere i should give read and write permissions but i could not find out where. Some one help me. Thanking them in advance. -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=41100&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 4.4): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41100&r=trysnapshot44 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 5.2): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41100&r=trysnapshot52 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 6.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41100&r=trysnapshot60 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41100&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41100&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41100&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41100&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41100&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41100&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41100&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41100&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41100&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41100&r=globals PHP 3 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41100&r=php3 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41100&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41100&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41100&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41100&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41100&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=41100&r=mysqlcfg
