In case this was a PHP problem, snapshots of the sources are packaged every three hours; this change will be in the next snapshot. You can grab the snapshot at http://snaps.php.net/. Any chance you can test out an unstable snapshot dated sometime after now. I just put in a fix which I hope corrects this issue for you. The "-I" shouldn't be included in a path check!
