I exported the LD_LIBRARY_PATH for Oracle 9i in ORACLE_HOME/lib32 and edited the Makefile to change the PATHS to lib32. the Same procedure for Apache src/modules/php4/MakeFile and it works find. Now make works fine. ./configure --with-oci8 --with-apache=../apache-1.3.31 okay vi Makefile and change LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/lib to lib32 make make install to Apache: cd .. cd apache-1.3.31/src/modules/php4 same changes to Makefile cd apache-1.3.31 ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/apache --enable-module=ssl --activate-module=src/modules/php4/libphp4.a make make install cp ../php-4.3.8/php.ini-dist /usr/local/lib/php.ini and done.
