This is true for normal variables like <input type="text" name="test" value="foo'bar">. However, when posting associative arrays like <input type="text" name="test[foo'bar]" value="dummy"> PHP 5.0.4 adds a quote before the '. PHP 4.3.4 does not have this bug.
