I was cross compile php-5.2.9 for powerpc603e, and I got the same
problem.
The following is my SW envs:
apache: 2.2.4
gcc 4.2 from ELDK4.2

I'd check --with-imap* first, cclient is known to have problems on
different systems as to my experience.

Remove all those ./configure options and try with only these:
./configure --with-apxs2 --disable-all
