From: mailforlindsay at gmail dot com Operating system: Windows PHP version: 4.4.4 PHP Bug Type: Reproducible crash Bug description: IIS crashes with one line of code
Description: ------------ With various IIS servers runnin PHP 4.x.x (various 4.3.x and 4.3.x) - i can crash IIS, so that it needs to be stopped and restarted with 1 line of code. Reproduce code: --------------- <? header("location:/currentfile.php"); // forward slash causes crash // currentfile.php is the exact basename of this file ?> Expected result: ---------------- It should fail elegantly. By itself, this should produce an infinite loop and time out - and that's exactly what happens if you create the loop without the leading "/". But with the slash IIS crashes. Actual result: -------------- IIS Crashes. I'm using IIS 5 on windows 2000. I've also reproduced it on remote machines whos details i don't know. -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=39514&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 4.4): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39514&r=trysnapshot44 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 5.2): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39514&r=trysnapshot52 Try a CVS snapshot (PHP 6.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39514&r=trysnapshot60 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39514&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39514&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39514&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39514&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39514&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39514&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39514&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39514&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39514&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39514&r=globals PHP 3 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39514&r=php3 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39514&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39514&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39514&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39514&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39514&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=39514&r=mysqlcfg
