The necessary paths under /tmp/sessions have been created with the script from ext/sessions. The warning is not presented when directory splitting is not used. During testing, no 3rd party extensions or patches were applied. session.save_handler is set to files Reproduce code: --------------- In the ini: session.save_path="3;/tmp/sessions" session.save_handler=files php -r 'echo "a line";' Expected result: ---------------- a line Actual result: -------------- PHP Warning: PHP Startup: mm_create(0, 3;/tmp/sessions/session_mm_cli0) failed, err mm:core: failed to open semaphore file (No such file or directory) in Unknown on line 0 a line ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=49433&edit=1
