Communication error between php ISAPI module and MySQL OS: MS Windows 2000 Server SP2, SRP1 and up to date fixes WWW Server: IIS 5.0 PHP: 4.1.1 used as ISAPI dll (php4isapi.dll) - downloaded binary from "http://www.php.net/do_download.php?download_file=php-4.1.1-Win32.zip" MySQL: 3.23.39-nt installed on the same machine MySQL Error message in mysql.err like this one: "Aborted connection 3957 to db: 'phpLinks3' user: 'rcc' host: `localhost' (Unknown error) - see http://www.mysql.com/doc/C/o/Communication_errors.html" Application error message: "Too many connections", ... The error has occurred several hours after starting/restarting IIS. After reinstalling previous version of php (4.0.6), everything is OK (www and ftp server with about 10 000 hits per day).
