For the record, Gallery HP does a good job of hiding the full URL anyway.

There are the traditional solutions to block accesses from the wrong referer but those are easy to work around.


Some time ago I noticed this solution that seems to be much more robust as it protects the actual images via a special URL wrapper that only gives access to the images if you really have set some session variables.

Not that it may be full proof, but I think it will protect your picture better.

From what I could gather it does not require that you change the code that generates your image tags as it does some magic with your page HTML.
