well, there are a few different formats that can be returned, so rather than
me guessing which type, how about you tell us exactly what format you have
(by providing an example), and exactly what format you want to
mysql manual - DATE_FORMAT() function. Simply do
SELECT DATE_FORMAT('format string', timestamp_column) ...
