We're on IIS and I don't know what that means. We are using NTS and
FastCGI.
Did you re-compile Wincache? If so, what base version did you use? If
not, what version of Wincache are you testing.

Wincache is updated and I can confirm that it compiles and works if you
load PHP 5.4.2 NTS as mod_fcgid module in Apache (no IIS here...).

Silly compile error: it was complaining about a missing
PHP_MEMCACHE_SHARED and quitted. I had to add pecl\memcache to my build
machine to get it working.
