From: dave at ilovejackdaniels dot com Operating system: Any PHP version: Irrelevant PHP Bug Type: Documentation problem Bug description: Error in date() Examples
Description: ------------ There is an error in the examples of date() usage: $today = date('\i\t \i\s \t\h\e jS \d\a\y.'); // It is the 10th day. and: $today = date('H:m:s \m \i\s\ \m\o\n\t\h'); // 17:03:17 m is month \t in date() will produce a tab rather than a "t". The "t"s above should be double-escaped, or the outputs should be changed to show tabs instead of "t"s. -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=35474&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (php4): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35474&r=trysnapshot4 Try a CVS snapshot (php5.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35474&r=trysnapshot50 Try a CVS snapshot (php5.1): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35474&r=trysnapshot51 Fixed in CVS: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35474&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35474&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35474&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35474&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35474&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35474&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35474&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35474&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35474&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35474&r=globals PHP 3 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35474&r=php3 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35474&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35474&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35474&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35474&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35474&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=35474&r=mysqlcfg
