Subject: WIN9X easier setup

To whom this may concern,

Very quickly, PHP rocks.  I have used since its beginning and it continues to amaze me.

I am currently tied to a win98 box and have set it up according to your instructions.  The only thing that I did not like about the instructions, is the messy copying of DLL's everywhere (windows directory).  I came up with an alternative.  Simply open the autoexec.bat file and add the PHP bin/mod directories to the path statement.  This is a method I learned through Java development in my box.. Then continues the setup with apace/php as your instructions state.  Now all the PHP stuff stays in the PHP directory (config files as well) and APACHE stays in APACHE.

Just a suggestion..

Sincerely,

Jeremy T. Silva
