I reversed the commit, though I do want to point out that the current
SimpleXML manual pages have no version information displayed for them.
Instead, they all say:
(no version information, might be only in CVS)
I added the notes so that people reading the docs wouldn't get confused

This is a logistical problem with docbook and OOP.
